Tanner Hail Institute

Located in Salem, Massachusetts, Tanner Hail Institute was founded in 1934 by a man named Tanner Hail. This institute was originally for the artistically gifted. Of course a few of these artists had gotten their inspirations from hallucinations that they’ve seen or the voices that were speaking to them. So they had to close the school from the amount of students who had to be escorted to a mental hospital. Shortly after, Tanner Hail passed away at the age of 43. His son, Howard Hail, made the school into an institute for the mental so that they’d never have to close down. It was pretty successful, until he died in 1975.

After college, his daughter, Elizabeth Hail Leigh, took over the institute. She saw how many people came as ”crazy” people, but then she noticed a few of her patients as special in a way. More like extremely special. These patients are the ones with supernatural abilities like invisibility or flying. She did some research on this controversy and wondered what would happen if she could fix them. So she keeps this itty bitty secret from the world. She does testing to see if she can find a cure for their abilities.

Now it’s the present and more than 230 patients died from the testing and most likely more are going to die in the future. So live in the shoes of the different patients and see how it is. Make sure to write your family back from Tanner Hail institute.
